Feelin' the Love!

As we enter into 2009, my thoughts are already turning towards the upcoming Valentine's holiday. I know that I am not nearly as prepared business-wise as I would like to be, but I chalk that up to this being my first year still having a shop. I constantly feel like I'm playing catch-up with the holidays. So for those of you who are in the same boat, I felt some I needed to share some love! I found some great retro-inspired items this morning while partaking in my favorite pasttime...looking for awesome things on Etsy!

The first great thing I found was this super cute Flirt Apron from etsy seller perdoozy. She has a variety of original retro-styled aprons that would be sure to please any lady on your list this Valentine's day.The second thing I stumbled across was Fifi's Excursion necklace by etsy seller Soulcharm. Not necessarily for Valentine's, but certainly feminine, retro, and romantic, this necklace would be perfect for those on your list who love life and don't take things too seriously. Maybe someone needs a little levity added to their everyday and this would be the perfect way to provide that! The last little tidbit I came across that I just had to share, was this adorable digital print from etsy seller swellkid. It made me think about the days when Valentine's cards weren't all about the latest trend in kids' trends like Hannah Montana or Dora the Explorer. What every happened to a little bit of originality?Well, I hope this has gotten you into "feelin' the love" a little bit more for the upcoming lover's holiday. Don't forget to support the handmade movement and shop Etsy for tons of fabulous, personal gift items!
