Easter Egg-cellence

Hard to believe that Easter is just around the corner, but I assure you that it is a mere 2 1/2 weeks away! To help inspire some creative decorating, or maybe even just fuel your imaginations, I have selected a few items that were retro at heart.

The first is an item near and dear to my own childhood. I recall playing with these at my grandparents house each year before Easter. This set of 3 crocheted chicken egg covers from Meisharay's shop would certainly warm any lonely plastic eggs that happen to be rolling around your home. When I emailed her about featuring this item, she told me that her mother, who is 85, actually makes these for her. It's easy to see she has passed her crafty genes on!

Next was this super funky purple bunny wreath from Flecto's shop. I don't know what it is about those little flocked animals that takes me back to my grade school days, but I just can't help but smile when I see them.

The last item I chose was an extremely cool set of decorative eggs from Goose Grease. I love how simple and chic they are! Have a happy Easter everyone!

Those chicken covers, or "chicken Suites" as I like to think of them are so cute! And, how cool that her mom still makes them. Great post!
